Seminars will be held at 4:30 p.m. each Thursday. The specific meeting room for each seminar is listed along with the speaker information for each date. Be on time! Changes in topic, location or date will be announced at the previous seminar and posted at the Chemistry Department office in Science & Tech I, Room 343.
All graduate students are expected to attend all seminars, whether registered or not.
CHEM 690 is an "attendance based course". To receive credit for CHEM 690 you must attend at least 3/4 of all seminars in order to pass the course and will receive a "B" if you miss more than 2 seminars during a semester and a "C" if more than 3 seminars are missed. It is your responsibility to sign the attendance sheet. Students who need to present a seminar, as required before graduation, should schedule a date.
